STFM 2005 まとめ

まとめ
いきなりまとめが先になってしまいますが、途中で途切れる可能性があるので、先に総まとめと感想を。いつもSTFMに行って思うのは、同じ時間帯に複数の行きたいセッションがあるぐらいセッションの数が多い事（１８セッションぐらいが同時進行です）。そのために、セッションの長さや内容、誰がやっているのかまで考えて、究極の選択をしなければならない事。実はその必要性に迫られる事が、自分の振り返りにすごく役立っているのです。いわゆるadult learnerは自分が抱えている問題に関連づけて学ぶ、という原理がありますが、まさにその通りで、プログラムを見ながら取捨選択をやっている過程で、今時分が本当にどのような事に興味があったり、問題意識があるのかがはっきりします。では、はしごしたものも含めて、私が参加したセッションを列挙してみましょう。pre-conference workshopは無料のものが少なかったので、またplenary (基調講演）は同時進行のセッションがないので選択したのではありません（寝坊せずに起きて参加する、という選択はしましたが。）

事情により参加できず

さて、現在の私の興味がみえたでしょうか？
相変わらず興味の対象は広く、やっぱり自分は家庭医なんだなとおもいます。

参加する事で一つの自信になっているのは、他のセッションの主催者、参加者と同じレベルの問題意識やアイデアを自分はすでに持っていて、おそらく日本にいてもSTFMと同じレベルで教育について考えられているのだろうという安心が得られる事です。ただ、concept, development,は同じレベルでも、実践implementation, dissemminationはまだまだで、そのあたりは、manpowerの差の違いなのか、自分の能力なのかと考えています。
